Hours: Monday-Friday
Salary up to $60 per hour commensurate with experience and education. In this role you will:
- Be a team player that is dedicated to patient care and building a successful Interventional Radiology (IR) program with special attention to radiation safety.
- Assist in maintaining IR inventory and par levels.
- Assist the Lead IR Technologists in clinical initiatives, proper quality control, and training.
- Perform all advanced clinical IR procedures and fluoroscopy.
- Assist in management of day-to-day workflow - including add-ons.
- Work in conjunction with Recovery Room, CT, and US for IR procedures.
- Transport patients from each area in the facility safely and with proper body mechanics.
- Coordinate with IR MD to ensure all scheduled patients are on schedule and workflow is efficient.
- Assist with clerical and non-technical duties necessary to department operations such as maintaining and cleaning patient care equipment per infection control standards.
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and/or report equipment malfunctions in a timely manner.
- AART registered and in good standing. Advanced registry preferred (CT, MRI, IR).
- Minimum 1 year Cath Lab/IR experience.
- Advanced computer skills including Google Platform, Microsoft Office, RIS, PACS and EMR.
- BLS certificate.
- Ability to clearly communicate, including, but not limited to, patients, co-workers, management, physicians, and visitors.
- Ability to operate Fluoroscopic equipment.
